My name is Kelsie Britton and I am from New Lyme, Ohio. My family dairy farm, Alfa Creek Farms, is located in Andover, Ohio where we own 114 registered Brown Swiss heifers and cows. I have shown brown swiss cattle at my county fair every year through 4-H from 2011 to the present and work on our farm almost every day. I am a member of the Kids and Cows 4-H club and Pymatuning Valley FFA chapter where I am constantly promoting the brown swiss breed and the dairy industry. I hope to continue my passion for agriculture and the dairy industry by attending the Ohio State University and pursuing a degree in agribusiness, which I plan on using to help manage my grandparents dairy farm and my dads grain farm. Some hobbies of mine include showing dairy cattle, skiing, basketball, cross country, and track. In the coming year I hope to get more involved in the Brown Swiss youth association and show in larger shows.
